During November 2005 a total of 25 deals were made in the drug delivery sector. These included a relatively high number of agreements relating to one particular class of technologies: those designed for transdermal drug delivery. These transactions centred upon a variety of products, including an insulin patch for diabetics and an ultrasonic skin-permeation device with a dengue vaccine.
